I had such a great time at the restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious!! every bite was full of flavor. The music was really good tooooooo - I just it added 6 songs to my playlist such a nice place & the atmosphere really made the whole experience cute and cozy. And I have to say, the waitstaff was amazing — especially our server, she was so sweet and attentive. Her kindness made the experience comforting. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This review is long incoming. We were in Europe last summer in our residence in Spain. Took the train to Barcelona for the first time to explore the city. Stayed at the Majestic Hotel. Which I have to give kudos too as an amazing absolutely fantastic places to stay. Sorry, I digress. One night we went out looking for somewhere to eat and while walking down the street ran into a couple who had just walked out of a basement flight of stairs. We struck up a conversation and they told us they had just had the most amazing dinner at an African restaurant. We looked down the flight of stairs to an unassuming off the beaten path restaurant. We figured what the hell let’s give it a try. The restaurant ended up being one of the best restaurants my wife and I have ever experienced. We’re well seasoned travelers who travel exclusively at five star, hotels, and restaurants. This small African restaurant exceeded our expectations 1000%. The food was amazing. The owners were very accommodating. It was an unexpected experience that I would encourage anyone who is traveling to Barcelona to experience.

Well, this place is really nice and I was very satisfied with the taste of food provided. I liked the athmosphere of restaurant, staff was very nice. We had froye (vegan pistachio stew) with fufu and/or yuca (similar as tapioc, glutenfree). The taste was amazing and one of the best african dishes I have eaten so far. What I was not very satisfied was quantity of the meals. I was not hungry that much, but if I was, then it would not be enough at all. We also wait around 45 minutes to get our order, but the place was nearly empty and it took more time than I would have expected. We got 2 limonades instead of one we asked for, they were fine and very gingery. But the bill of 50€ is in my opinion bit too much for all of these. We were extra charged by 10% as a service fee (there was no mention about it). I would at least expect bigger portions, but I consider this as quite expansive for what we get. In other places which were no worse we ate for around 30€ and their portions were way bigger. Reservations could be useful in some times, we did not use it.
